COVID-19
COVID-19 has changed how healthcare is delivered at our practice. In line with Department of Health guidelines we offer telehealth consultations.
COVID-19 Symptom Checking
If you have a FEVER and/or an acute RESPIRATORY illness (sore throat/runny nose/cough/shortness of breath), you will need to be tested for COVID-19 and must NOT book a face to face consultation. You may book a Telehealth consultation during which our doctors will assess your symptoms over the phone and will advise if you are required to have a face to face consultation for an examination. If a face to face consultation is required, you must have tested negative for Covid-19.
See this link for information about COVID-19 testing: COVID-19
Telehealth Appointments
Patients booking for Telehealth are billed at the normal standard clinic rate.
On receipt of your payment the clinic will forward this to Medicare for your usual rebate and any prescriptions required will be sent to you electronically, or to your nominated pharmacy.
